The Institute Netaji Shikshan Sanstha was established at the auspicious hands of Late Waghoji Shelke and was registered under Society Trust Act, in 1965. The Institute was named after freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The trustees belonged to the common and agricultural family. With the noble purpose of providing educational facilities to the rural students in the nearby area of Kedgaon, the Institute started the School in 1966 with few students and named it Jawaharlal High School.
